DevSecOps Engineer
Location: National Capital Region
Clearance: Active TS/SCI
The DevSecOps Engineer works with the Development, Engineering, Architecture, and Testing teams to define the set of tools and processes for the Development Security Operations (DevSecOps) of Government Owned Software (SW) continuous delivery pipeline.
· Develop or configure, test, stage, and release business applications by applying iterative processes utilizing the proposed DevSecOps environment and supporting tooling, and a frequent release cycle.
· Provide comprehensive documentation and information necessary so that the Government can analyze the DevSecOps processes, procedures, and/or policies that were implemented in the creation of the SW applications
· Conduct business process analysis expertise regarding optimizing the SW workflow, automation, manual processes (where necessary), and feedback loops across the DevSecOps environment.
· Produce DevSecOps metrics and ensure they are available to the Government through the Agile Project Management Tools. The Contractor shall present the DevSecOps metrics to the Government at the conclusion of each Sprint and release.
· Work with the Development, Engineering, Architecture, and Testing teams to define the set of tools and processes for the continuous delivery pipeline.
· Work to ensure that the tools are compliant with security requirements.
· Work to streamline the Authority to Operate (ATO) process from a tools and technical process perspective.
· Work to automate testing where possible.
· Work to ensure that the CI/CD processes align with operational requirements.
Required:
· B.S. degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline.
· 5+ years’ experience with agile development
· DoD8570 Certification (Security +) may be obtained, required 6 months after hire.
· OS-Based/Cloud Certification (Cloud Native / Kubernetes Certification preferred, such as CKA, but AWS/Linux Certifications accepted.) May be obtained, required 6 months after hire.
· 5+ years’ experience with agile development.
· AWS Experience.
· Kubernetes Experience.
· TS/SCI Clearance
· Familiarity with deploying software at the TS/SCI level to NSA Network (NSANet).
· Familiar with NSANet approved tools for system configuration and management (e.g., SIMP, Puppet, Ansible, and CS2 Scripts).
· Hands-on experience working with tools and technologies in, at a minimum, two (2) of the following areas: software development, configuration control, testing, security, automation, containerization, orchestration, cloud services, open-source technologies.
· Possess a TS/SCI Clearance
