The Software Developer LVL II will support PEO Soldier design, develop, procure, field, and sustain support for virtually everything the Soldier wears or carries.

· Develops and manages Microsoft 365 Power Platform tools for the command, currently sustaining 34 tools for the enterprise.

· Creates build packages for shared solutions. Other organizations have similar needs for leveraging Power Platform services to accomplish mission specific and operational goals. Includes the documentation, packaging and demoing of existing proven solutions at PEO Soldier. Build packages to reduce set-up and deployment of tools for future PEOs and external organizations.

· Serves as PEO Soldier’s interface with the cloud vendor support team as the system administrator to evaluate and engineer cloud system solutions and periodic system outages/resolutions.

· Designs, develops, and customizes software applications tailored to meet the specific needs of the organization. This involves writing code, integrating systems, developing and adopting Application

· Programming Interfaces (APIs) and ensuring that the applications align with business requirements and processes.

· Application Maintenance and Support to include: troubleshooting and resolving issues, applying updates and patches, and ensuring the applications are functioning optimally. Schedule annual review of tools and support IPTs for requirements gathering and user experiences and feedback for newer versions.

· Provide training and support to end-users to ensure they can effectively use the enterprise applications. This includes creating user documentation, conducting training sessions, and addressing user inquiries or issues.

· Collaborate with Directorates and PMOs to establish requirements, gather feedback, and analyze business processes. Identifying opportunities for improving efficiency and effectiveness through application enhancements or new application deployments.

· Implement Robotic Process Automation to reduce manual efforts, streamline data refreshes to all Power BI visualization tools and workflows.

Required:

· Bachelor’s Degree Minimum

· 10 years relevant experience

· Expert level software developer has expertise organizing and managing development activities related to building and maintaining software releases for their promotion to the production environment.

· Working knowledge of Agile methodologies
