Overview

The Senior Sharepoint Developer provides recommendations to Director of Operations and the Chief Data Officer regarding information architectures, taxonomies, and workflows; identifying and documenting user requirements for website usability; preparing technical requirements; designing and developing page templates and prototypes; and planning and implementing webpage additions and enhancements.

Responsibilities

· Acts as the main point of contact for SharePoint and O365 requirements. Assist Government personnel in building and deploying intranet and extranet and document management sites on SharePoint and other website environments (requires familiarity and experience with multiple programming languages such as HTML, JavaScript, AngularJS, jQuery, WordPress, etc.)

· Utilizes and updates various Office 365 applications to include Power BI.

· Continues to develop SharePoint Online based solutions by gathering requirements and information needs.

· Support and assist Government personnel in maintaining SharePoint and website environments through the posting and management of content, pages, lists, libraries, along with design, testing and implementation of web-based “out-of- the-box” and required “custom” solutions.

· Support and troubleshoot client-facing and public- facing issues with SharePoint and website, workflow tools and escalate as appropriate to resolve issues.

· Make recommendations regarding design, graphics, features, and functionality to enhance and improve the user experience and provide SharePoint training to DASA DEC staff.

Qualifications

Required:

 

Bachelor’s Degree

· 8 years experience

· Preferred certifications, which are not required, will be given more favorable consideration include: Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator.

· Requires Secret clearance
