Budget Analyst

The Budget Analyst supports the facilitation of Army response to Government Accountability Office (GAO), DoD Inspector General (IG), and audit data calls.

• · Support international FMS requirements forecasting
• · Support Non-Program of Record Project management
• · Support the facilitation of Army response to Government Accountability Office (GAO), DoD Inspector General (IG), and audit data calls.
• · Maintain a tracker and repository of all GAO and IG inquiries and help ensure any resulting action are pursued for resolution.
• · Coordinate and review requirements levied by DoD IG, GAO, and DSCA Security Assistance Audit Readiness Board. Army will support DSCA’s pursuit of audit readiness for five Assemble Units; Appropriations Received/Case Acceptance (DIFS OA); Contract Pay, Civilian Pay, Reimbursable Work Orders; and Vendor Pay.Support Government personnel in the reviewing and staffing of non-recurring cost recoupment charges.
• · Prepares balance sheets and audit statements.
• · Prepare all documents related to finance, accounting, and auditing.
• · Working knowledge of government audit processes and regulations, ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations.
• · Provide a qualitative and quantitative evaluation based on empirical data findings.

Required:

• · Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• · 5 years experience
• · Must be knowledgeable and have experience in Generally Accepted Auditing Standards and Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR).
• · Requires Secret clearance
