Overview

Integral Federal is seeking a Knowledge Management (KM) Specialist to support Army Futures Command (AFC) by managing and enhancing its knowledge management environment. This role ensures effective collaboration, streamlined information sharing, and the efficient use of knowledge resources across organizational tools and platforms. The KM Specialist will play a key role in developing and implementing KM strategies, maintaining content platforms, and supporting the flow of critical knowledge related to research technology protection and risk-based reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Design systems and processes to capture, store, and share knowledge related to research technology protection and risk-based reviews.

  • Administer and maintain the organization’s KM environment, including content libraries, permissions, and site collections to support cross-organizational collaboration.

  • Develop and implement KM strategies, roadmaps, and best practices to optimize the use and accessibility of knowledge assets.

  • Provide front-end support for KM platforms and recommend improvements for KM processes, tools, and content organization.

  • Align KM solutions with business needs to enable effective information sharing across analysts and stakeholders.

  • Recommend editorial standards, content organization, and publication methods; assist in curating and repurposing content across channels.

  • Utilize central and peripheral databases, content management systems, and records management tools to improve workflow and process efficiency.

  • Design and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to support visibility into KM system performance and user engagement.

  • Create and manage technical content, including user guides, knowledge base articles, standard operating procedures, and stakeholder communications.

  • Compile performance and usage metrics and prepare reports to evaluate effectiveness of KM practices.

Qualifications

Required:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience

    • OR an additional 5 years of job-related experience (totaling 11 years) may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional knowledge management role, including:

    • Developing technical documentation such as user guides and procedures

    • Maintaining and administering SharePoint, Confluence, or Strapi site collections

    • Working within a Scrum or Agile framework

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and KM tools

  • Strong understanding of KM principles, practices, and tools within DoD and Intelligence Community environments

  • Active Secret clearance
