Senior Business Analyst/Scrum Master
Location: Reston, Remote
Clearance Requirement: U.S. Citizenship required (Security Clearance preferred)
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst / Scrum Master to join our team and drive the successful delivery of mission-critical technology solutions. This role requires strong analytical skills to elicit, document, and validate business requirements. This role also requires proven experience facilitating Agile Scrum ceremonies to guide cross-functional teams through iterative development cycles. The ideal candidate will collaborate and partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable user stories, manage product backlogs, and ensure alignment between technical solutions and organizational goals. As Scrum Master, the candidate will foster a collaborative, Agile environment by leading sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release coordination. The role also involves supporting quality assurance activities, tracking progress through tools such as Jira and Confluence, and promoting continuous improvement to maximize value delivery.
· Act as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to elicit, analyze, and document requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
· Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
· Partner with Product Owners to manage and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivery timelines.
· Support quality assurance and testing efforts, including test case review, UAT coordination, and defect management.
· Develop and maintain process workflows, documentation, and reports using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet.
· Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to Agile practices and team performance.
· Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with organizational and federal standards.
· Facilitate cross-functional communication and remove impediments to keep Agile teams focused and productive.
