Senior Software Developer

Location: Washington, DC (Remote)

Integral Federal is seeking a Senior Software Developer with hands-on experience in Rhythmix to lead complex application development efforts and guide technical decision-making across our project teams. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in designing, building, and optimizing Rhythmix-based solutions, along with strong proficiency in modern development frameworks and integration patterns. This role requires the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, reliable technical implementations while mentoring junior developers and contributing to architectural strategy. The Senior Developer will play a key role in delivering high-quality, mission-focused solutions that support our clients’ evolving needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications using ASP.NET Core, MVC, and Web API for back-end services.
  • Create responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery, and front-end frameworks such as Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Design and implement database queries using Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to transform wireframes and design specifications into functional applications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and web services for seamless data integration.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance and usability.

Qualifications

Required:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Hands-on experience in Rhythmix
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong focus on Microsoft .NET technologies.
  • Proficiency in ASP.NET Core, C#, and Entity Framework.
  • Strong knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery, and relevant frameworks (Angular).
  • Experience with SQL Server and database design, including writing complex queries and stored procedures.
  • Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must be able to attain a position of public trust
