Overview

The Assistant Program Manager will provide the Information Technology (IT) support services to the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence (AVCOE) G-6 to manage the full spectrum lifecycle for technology, automation, communications and information systems within the Command.

Responsibilities

· Acts as the Assistant Program Manager to provide comprehensive program management oversight for all contractor and subcontractor personnel supporting the task order.

· Supports the management and oversight of all Contractor and subcontractor personnel performing work under this task order, ensuring their performance meets established standards outlined in this Performance Work Statement, Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP), and as required by the Contracting Officer or the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).

· Supports the management of the overall contract onsite. All sections report to this position. The administrative aspects of the contract are managed by this position.

· Coordinates with the Program Manager to ensure the manning and training of the contract staff is adequate for meeting the deliverables.

· Performs administrative functions and liaisons with the government for establishing priorities and training in new technologies as needed.

· Supports the management and coordination of the planning and implementation of all contract/program activities; interface with Government personnel; formulate and review project feasibility studies; determine costs; ensure compliance to work standards; interpret policies, purposes, and goals of the organizations for contractor and subcontractor personnel; and utilize company resources to achieve program objectives.

Qualifications

Required:

 

· B.S or B.A Degree in an Information Technology Field

· 7 year minimum managing IT Operations within a DoD environment.

· Written and verbal communication skill, to include presentation development to senior ranking government officials.

· Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) equivalent or higher

· Secret Clearance
